ROCKET paramedics and pilots took part in their regular rescue mission training last week. Training is required every three to six months in order to maintain high performance standards and ensure compliance.
AIR RESCUE TRAINING CRITICAL TO EFFICIENT EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
The training sessions typically include safety protocols, rescue techniques, effective communication strategies, and proper equipment operation. Additionally, the training sessions may incorporate simulations and drills of rescue missions in order to ensure that paramedics and pilots are fully prepared for any potential emergencies.

On Friday, SARZA (SA Search and Rescue) and SAP Dog Unit were invited to take part in the training. To improve efficiency at the time of emergencies, training was conducted with these other specialised Rescue services.
