WHO
IS ROCKET
BRIDGING THE GAP IN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES IN SOUTH AFRICA
“The emergency services industry at large has lost its ‘traditional caring soul’ with access to services being traded off against actuarial calculations, income statements and balance sheets.
De-commoditising the patient experience and re-igniting the soul of the emergency services industry, are key ROCKET objectives”
- Hendrik Louw, CEO, ROCKET HEMS

OUR
STORY
ROCKET HEMS, a subsidiary of the Henley Air Group, started 3 years ago in response to the declining patient care in the emergency services field, which has been caused by the advent of corporate financial medicine as well as the deterioration of emergency services and basic infrastructure in the outlying areas. ROCKET’s business is foundationally patient-centric and everything the company does is built around this premise.
This drives their continued efforts to innovate, disrupt and invest in world-class teams of aeromedical, aviation and emergency management centre professionals.
